I’ve spent my career building things — teams, partnerships, stories, and commercial engines — and I’ve learned that none of it works without people.

From global entertainment launches to grassroots sport, the constant thread in my work has been helping talented teams turn ambition into something real, lasting and commercially meaningful.

I grew up on a farm in Somerset, where teamwork, community and graft were part of daily life. Those values carried through my 16+ years at Sony Pictures, working on some of the world’s most powerful narratives — Spider-Man, James Bond, The Crown — and leading commercial teams across major retailers, streamers and platforms. I learned how to create anticipation, how to build audiences, and how to shape moments that matter.

But I also learned something more important:

story, structure and people are what make organisations grow.

That belief led me to found ACT-IO — a way to work directly with founders, rights-holders and teams who care about purpose as much as performance, and who want to build something that endures.

I’m at my best when I’m helping people find clarity, build capability and create momentum:
